HERDI National Succeeds Once More

Meeting In Weehawken, NJ, HERDI brought several, new Community

College leaders together with our client partners October 24-26, 2022.

Although the weather brought some rain, we were still able to see the

incredible skyline of Manhattan from many of the meeting rooms as

well as the sleeping rooms, just across the river. The Envue did not

disappoint with their service or food. The meeting began with an

orientation for new Advisory Board members led by Maureen Murphy

and Maggie McMenamin. The two days of focus panels resulted in an

incredible learning experience for Advisory Board members and Client

partners. New connections were made, and relationships

strengthened. The HERDI process is incredible to observe. The real

benefactors are the colleges and the students and staff they serve. A

highlight was the celebration of Maureen Murphy who will retire at

the end of December. Her contributions through the years to

community colleges and students have been exemplary. We also

experienced another first. The Board Chair for BibliU sat in on two

panels and addressed the participants at the dinner that they also

sponsored. Thank you, Mark Whitby, for coming across from England

to participate with us.
